Background:

Canadian International School of Thailand (CIST) first opened in September 2017 with a Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and Grade 7 class. After five years of continual growth, the school now has almost 200 students from Pre-Kindergarten through to Grade 11. In August 2022, the school will complete the continuum as it adds its first Grade 12 class, studying towards an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). According to the Canadian system, education is divided into three sections: the Early Years (Pre-K3 and Pre-K 4), Elementary (KG to Grade 6), and Secondary (Grade 7 to 12).
